Hiking

Camp Huckins is located just south of the beautiful White Mountain National Forest.  Our tripping program offers campers of all ages the opportunity to sign up for day hikes appropriate to camper age and interest.  A popular junior hike ascends Mary’s Mountain for an expansive view of Lake Ossipee.  Oldest, ambitious campers have ascended Mt Chocorua or Mt Washington.  Moderate hikes off the scenic Kancamagus  Highway or in the Ossipee Mountains are often followed by swimming in crystal clear mountain streams.
