While conducting our programs and registering program participants, we may receive personal information and data, including certain health data. Absent exceptional circumstances, we use this information for internal purposes only. We may disclose personal information and data, however, in the following circumstances:
- Legal requests and investigations. We may disclose personal information and data when, in our opinion, such disclosure is necessary to comply with any statute, law, rule, order, or regulation of any government agency or authority or to meet requirements contained in an order or rules of any court of competent jurisdiction.
- Agents. We may disclose personal information and data in order to allow vendors and independent contractors to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include healthcare, IT, legal, and other professional services. These vendors and contractors maintain confidentiality and privacy practices and will have access only as needed to perform their functions. These vendors and contractors are not permitted to use that personal information and data for other purposes.
- Protection of the CCYMCA/Camp Huckins and others. We may disclose personal information and data when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our policies and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, safety or health of our program participants, the organization, our employees, or others.
NOTE: None of the foregoing uses include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personal information or data for commercial purposes. With respect to website visitors, personal information received from visitors through our website will be used for internal purposes and for the purpose of appropriate direct communications. We gather some information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type and language, Internet service provider (ISP), referring and exit websites and applications, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We use this information to understand and analyze trends, to administer the site, to learn about user behavior on the site, to improve our programs and communications, and to gather demographic information about our visitors. We may use this information in our efforts to market and promote our programs.
CCYMCA/Camp Huckins may use aggregated information to improve its website and enhance its performance and responsiveness. CCYMCA/Camp Huckins may collect personal information (name, e-mail address, phone number) from visitors on a voluntary basis only, not as a requirement for access to the website.
