CCYMCA / Camp Huckins is seeking applicants for several positions during the summer 2021 season. Ideal candidates exemplify the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. The Huckins Kitchen is looking to fill a few support positions. Assist Chef Joel and his team with dishwashing, cleaning, serving and light food preparation. No experience necessary, just a willingness to work, have fun, meet some new friends and eat great food. On-site living or commuter positions available. Questions? Our facilities and grounds team are looking for additional support for the summer season. Positions include general maintenance of buildings, equipment and grounds, trash removal, lawn care and supporting the custodial team when needed. Full and part-time positions available. Staff Kids Counselors
Enjoy working with kids? Join our support staff team working closely with our staff children as a Staff Kids Counselor (SKC). SKC’s are responsible for a group of staff children and in planning and implementing fun and engaging activities across Camp. Staff children typically range in age from 2-14, so chances are we have an age group that best suits your experience and preferences! These positions are full-time, living on-site for 10 weeks. We searching for additional members to join our night security team. Shifts are from 9pm to 2am. Duties include patrolling camp grounds on foot and maintaining the safety of campers and staff as well as performing necessary clerical duties at the main office, such as checking in staff members arriving back from time off.
