GRADES
Campers must have completed the third grade prior to attending camp. Depending on enrollment numbers, camp may house multiple grades in one cabin or have the same grade housed in multiple divisions. Siblings will not be placed in the same cabin.
TUITION AND APPLICATION FEE
At Camp Huckins, we know the value and lasting impact a Huckins Experience can have. We strive to ensure that a Huckins summer camp experience is accessible to as many children as possible. Rather than raising rates across the board and pricing some families out of a Huckins experience, we offer a voluntary 3-tier tuition system that recognizes that families have different abilities to pay This is an honor system and your family’s tier choice is strictly confidential. All campers receive the same incredible Huckins experience no matter which tier they choose to pay!
Tuition Fees:
- Tier 1: $2,890
- Tier 2: $2,645
- Tier 3: $2,130
Plus, a non-refundable $200 Registration Fee.
TIER PRICING AND FINANCIAL AID
Tier 1: This price most accurately reflects the full cost of operating and maintaining Camp. This tier helps to ensure that Huckins is available and thriving for future generations of campers.
Tier 2: Thanks to the efforts of our hard-working volunteers and donors, we are able to offer tier 2 for those families who need some assistance with the full cost of camp. This tuition tier is partially subsidized for each camper through the Huckins Fund.
Tier 3: This tier tuition is subsidized by the Huckins Fund and endowment funds. It is designed to assist those who might otherwise be unable to attend camp. Families applying for financial assistance should register at Tier 3.
Financial aid is awarded based on financial need or other extenuating circumstances. Applications for financial aid can be requested when applying.
The person who submits the application is responsible for payment of all fees. 50% of tuition is due March 1, with the balance due by May 1st. We also offer a monthly payment plan beginning February 1. Think about your payment plans now – partial payments will not be accepted after May 1st. If payment in full is not received by May 1st the spot will be given to a child on the waitlist. No deductions will be made for delays in arrival or leaving before the scheduled date.
WAITLIST
If your child is placed on the Wait List, you will receive an acknowledgement. We will contact you as space becomes available. If you wish to remove your child from the Wait List, please contact the Registrar as soon as you make that decision.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
If you need to cancel your camper’s registration, please notify the Registrar as soon as possible. Camp Huckins has a no-refund policy after May 1st, for both registration fees and tuition payments apart from medical refunds.
MEDICAL INFORMATION
All campers must complete a Health Form online. Accepted families will receive more information about our online health form and medication ordering.
