Arrival Day/Pick Up Day

New Drop Off Time for 2024!

Families will be assigned a time to arrive between 9:30-12:00.  Campers will have lunch and then dive right into their first day of camp.

You will be greeted at the Camp Huckins Entrance and directed to the health clearance area.  Our nurses will perform a Health check and you will then be directed to your campers cabin.  Juniors, Middlers and Leadership families can drive right to the cabin to unload their belongings.  Senior Division families will be directed to the parking lot and will have use of carts to move belongins to your campers cabin.  We then suggest you meet the Camp Director at our Camp Lodge.

Late Arrivals:  If you are unable to arrive during the 9:30-12:00 time frame please call the office to discuss your situation.  If you are stuck in traffic and will not be able to arrive during your scheduled time slot please call the office to arrange a drop off time.  We start our routine immediately and late drop offs can be very disruptive to our schedule.

Lodging for the night before:  If you live a distance from camp and would like a list of local accomodation please reach out to the office for reccomendations.

BED/BUNK ASSIGNMENTS: Campers draw their bed assignment (top or bottom bunk) upon entering the cabin. There is no need to arrive early, as the gates do not open until 9:30 am.   If your camper requires a bottom bunk please contact the office.

PICK UP DAY

Camper pick-up will be scheduled between 9-11 am. Check out will be staggered to support traffic volume/flow and families will be assigned a designated pick-up window.

When you pick up your camper, please make sure that you aren’t leaving any articles behind, especially laundry or garbage bags with dirty clothes or bedding. Lost and found will be laundered and given to a local charitable organization.   If your camper will be picked up by someone other than a parent be sure to complete that form on your dashboard(remember 21+).

  •  Check for late arriving mail (we would suggest not mailing anything after Tuesday of the second week to be sure it has time to get to camp) This will be near the office on your way out.
  • Also be sure and pick up any boxes/packages that arrived for your camper.  We will email you Friday to let you know if we are holding a box/package for your camper.
  • Check lost and found for anything your camper may have lost.  This will also be near the office.
